Ep 26 — The Squander Ombudsman Reveals how Artists Waste Your Money Through a Corrupt Bureaucracy
The anonymous person behind the social media account “The Squander Ombudsman” (Sløseriombudsmannen) has become a national phenomenon in Norway, counting over 60.000 followers on Facebook:
With a focus on public squandering, state support of the arts is indeed a natural topic for him — revealing friendships and political activism under the guise of “culture”.
His own activities have even made him a topic of discussion at The Culture Council of Norway, and subject of international news coverage.
This conversation was hosted by Jan-Ove Tuv and was produced by Bork S. Nerdrum, with assistance from Sebastian Salvo and Cassander Straumsgaard.
The centerpiece was a composition study by Sebastian Salvo.
